Social Clubs in Los Angeles

Los Angeles is famously famous for its club scene, drawing celebrities and business elites looking for somewhere special to party, network and dine behind velvet rope. Today there are numerous members-only clubs catering to specific clienteles. In 2021, The Britely was established to bring Angelenos of various backgrounds together who share "bright lives and bright minds". NeueHouse also boasts homes in Madison Square, Hollywood Bradbury and Venice Beach; these will eventually open as part of its portfolio of properties. Remedy Place, another new player on Sunset Strip that prioritizes human connection and self-care through hyperbaric chamber, lymphatic compression, infrared sauna sessions and ice bath classes is another newcomer to this market.

These clubs remain private; however, occasionally leaks do surface. In April 2021, it was revealed that Prince Harry had dropped by Jeffrey Klein (of Sunset Tower Hotel fame)'s private social club for lunch with Wallis Annenberg; Steven Spielberg and Ted Sarandos also attended.

But clubs have evolved beyond exclusivity and an enjoyable atmosphere; many also address social issues and provide charitable donations. For instance, The Wilfandel Club in West Adams district was created by two African American women who felt excluded from white clubs, wanting a place where they could meet over drinks while supporting social causes.
