No matter the glass surface you're dealing with, there are tried-and-tested techniques for safely removing price stickers or labels without damaging it. Soaking sticker-covered bottles in hot soapy water often works, as its chemicals disintegrate glue faster. Or you could apply solvents such as rubbing alcohol or nail polish remover to label residue; use plastic scraper or credit card edge to rub glue off. Take extra care not to scratch your glass as you work.
Commercial degreasers typically used for motor oil and grease cleanup can also help remove stubborn glue residue from glass surfaces. Simply spray the surface with degreasing product, rub, and rinse until all glue residue has been eliminated. If any remains, try chipping it away using metal scrapers such as the head of a screwdriver or razor blade with sharp, sturdy blades so as to not snap under pressure.
Natural solvents like rubbing alcohol, vodka or gin and white vinegar can also help loosen stubborn residue on glass surfaces. Simply saturate a cleaning cloth or sponge with one of these products and spray onto any sticky spots on glass surfaces; allow the glue to sit for 10-20 minutes before rubbing off with hot water from a steamer blaster if necessary.
