HGTV is back with another season of their hit competition series Battle on the Beach. The show showcases renovation teams competing to add value to identical beachfront properties by renovating them using skillful renovation skills; those adding the most will win a cash prize! Coaches for each team include Alison Victoria, Ty Pennington and Taniya Nayak; these hosts-turned-mentors act as coaches and mentors of these renovation teams.
It’s a great way to get some exercise
Beachgoers and anyone seeking to get some exercise will find volleyball to be an ideal way to burn calories and stay in shape. Not only does it provide some cardio workout, but playing also creates social opportunities while being fun - providing exercise for the whole family!
Battle on the Beach returns for a second season! HGTV's popular competition series showcases three teams of up-and-coming home renovators as they compete to renovate beach houses in Gulf Shores, Alabama. Each team works closely with mentors from Build It Forward (Tanya Nayak), Ty Pennington (Rock the Block) and Alison Victoria (Windy City Rehab), to complete weekly renovation challenges in their seaside properties - ultimately adding value to each house by up to $50,000 cash prize for whichever team adds most value (Tanya Nayak), Ty Pennington (Rock the Block), Windy City Rehab), Alison Victoria (Windy City Rehab), as they work nonstop to complete weekly challenges in Gulf Shores Alabama.
The show premiered on Sunday, June 4, to strong ratings averaging an audience of approximately 4.4 million viewers for its premiere episode.
It’s a great way to relax
There are numerous ways to relax on the beach, from sitting and reading a book, playing games or sipping on cocktails. Finding what works for you is key; an afternoon at the beach may even help overcome insomnia by alleviating three key factors that contribute to restless nights: physical fatigue, hormonal imbalance and high levels of anxiety and stress.
This season of HGTV's Battle on the Beach brings with it an added dimension: an extra large house for one team. Regulars Ty Pennington, Alison Victoria and Taniya Nayak will guide rookie designers as they compete to increase the value of Alabama vacation homes; Sarah and Bryan Baeumler from Renovation Island will serve as judges.
On June 4, the inaugural episode of this season premiered and teams immediately set to work. Alison Victoria mentored business partners Pete and Ben from Upper Peninsula Michigan; Ty Pennington provided guidance to renovation team Ashley and Steve of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; while Taniya Nayak assisted Kelsey and Ryan of Uniontown, Ohio.
It’s a great way to socialize
Battle on the Beach returns this year with six brand-new episodes! This exciting competition series pairs skilled home renovators with coaches-turned-mentors like Taniya Nayak (Build It Forward), Ty Pennington (Rock the Block) and Alison Victoria (Windy City Rehab). Their teams compete to update three identical beach houses located near vacation hotspot Gulf Shores Alabama each week until finally facing renovation challenges that lead to a final judgment for which house has been renovated best, ultimately awarding one team with a cash prize prize as determined by judges each week!
Early this year, Oak Island town officials received notice about upcoming filming for Battle on the Beach at three homes on its west end. A spokesperson stated:
In June 2018 The show premiered its third season and showcased teams from across the United States - married couple Ryan and Kelsey Mansingh from Uniontown, Ohio; friends Ashley Basnight and Steve Lewis of Oklahoma City; as well as Pete and Ben Argall of Upper Peninsula Michigan.
It’s a great way to eat
Battle on the Beach, HGTV's popular renovation competition series, returns for round three. This show pairs skilled renovation teams with mentors from their own communities to update homes along the beachfront, and rewards those that add the most value with a $50,000 cash prize. Last season saw Taniya Nayak (Build It Forward) and Ty Pennington (Rock the Block) help three upcoming home renovators make over beach houses in Gulf Shores Alabama before judges Sarah and Bryan Baeumler from Renovation Island decided who won.
This season, filming for the show has moved to Oak Island, North Carolina and filming has already started. Sarah Baeumler - one of the show's judges - posted on her Facebook account that crews were on their way.
This season will see several changes to the show, in addition to new judges. One house will become 200 square feet larger as determined by a kick-off challenge; teams then begin renovation projects on kitchen and dining room makeovers in episode one.
