Carbone, with locations in New York, Miami, Las Vegas and Hong Kong is a modern American icon that pays homage to the historic Italian eateries of midcentury Manhattan. Mario Carbone from Queens created Carbone alongside partners Rich Torrisi and Jeff Zalaznick; Major Food Group now owns this concept restaurant as one of their many popular dining concepts.
Carbone quickly won over critics when its menu of elevated Italian-American classics quickly won over many customers. Since its opening, celebrities visiting or living in Los Angeles often dine there; celebrities such as Rihanna, Justin and Hailey Bieber can often be seen dining there (or being photographed eating there). While at times crowded and festive, Carbone always delivers on its promise.
How to Get in Its Reservations at Carbone are released seven days in advance and often sell out within seconds, but there is one trick you can try: arrive close to opening time and ask to sit in the bar area (rather than dining room) instead - almost always you will walk right in! This method especially proves successful during Los Angeles Dodgers games when there can be large throngs of Carbone patrons present; many prefer this strategy over waiting in line for dining tables!
Join Mario Carbone as we toast his West Coast launch of his red sauce line at Erewhon's six L.A. area locations starting Thursday, September 30. Featuring Lobster Fra Diavolo, Chicken Scarpariello and Veal Parmesan varieties--these quick and tasty meals provide restaurant quality meals at home!
